Tree FAQs
No, this is not a service we offer, but that's because most of our home grown Christmas Trees are already cut and standing on spikes, this allows you to look round the tree to choose the perfect one for you. Our trees are harvested throughout the season to ensure that our customers get only the freshest trees.
We sell the traditional Norway Spruce, Nordman Fir and several varieties of Pot Grown trees. You can find more details about our Christmas Tree varieties here.
As we grow the trees ourselves we are able to cut our home grown Christmas Trees up to Christmas Eve so we'll never run out! However there won't be as many trees to choose from at that stage so for the biggest choice don't leave it too late.
Nordman Fir trees are much better at holding their needles if looked after well and watered regularly. For Hans' tips on how to look after your tree see here.
Cranleigh Garden Services deliver trees locally on our behalf. You will need to organise that with them on the day or ahead of time if you know your tree will be too long for your car. You can find contact details for Cranleigh Garden Services and prices on their website. Delivery can only be arranged for trees from Santa Fir Christmas Tree Farm, not our other locations.
It can take 10yrs to grow a 6ft Nordman Fir tree.
Yes, it is very important to water your tree regularly and keep it away from radiators and direct heat. For more information on how to care for your tree check out Hans' tips.
